New KIRAS-project Counter Stories has started
On November 16, 2018, SYNYO lauchned the new KIRAS project Counter Stories together with the partners OIIP, bOJA and BMI (BVT/SIAK). The project focusses on early prevention against radicalization by putting an emphasis on positive alternatives.
The overall objective of Counter Stories is therefore to develop research-based alternative narratives for the early radicalization prevention by the police, and to develop didactic concepts as well as tailored early-prevention material targeting young people. For that purpose, the project is working with a new, dynamic crime prevention model. It also aligns the materials along the realities of young vulnerable people in the pre-stage of radicalisation. Furthermore, the project establishes a strong connection with national and international networks, practitioners and initiatives. Find more information on the project website: www.counterstories.at
