MIICT Project Kickoff Meeting
From November 13-15, 2018, the new H2020-project MIICT was launched in Sheffield, UK. MIICT (ICT Enabled Services for Migration) was conceived with the goal of designing, developing and deploying tools that address the challenge of migrant integration. In service of this goal, the 15 project partners will co-create improved ICT-enabled services with migrants, refugees, public sector services, NGOs (Non-Governmental-Organisations) and other interest groups. By involving research-users at the centre of our approach we address the need to improve and customise the interfaces used to access key public services so that they better address the requirements of migrants and refugees.
The project is coordinated by CENTRIC (Sheffield Hallam University) and SYNYO is leading the dissemination and communication work package. Furthermore, SYNYO is involved in the design of the end-user applications as well as in the piloting of the tools. Find more information on the project website: www.miict.eu
